Not available in the USA I had to order this one through www.whiskyexchange.com. The nose has caramel, alcohol (this was bottled at 55% abv) banana and a slightly malty note. The taste has a bite of alcohol, more caramel and quite bold. Feels very young and spicy with a peppery and drying finish. With some water it gets more fruity, citrusy and malty. Not wild about this one, it's young and feisty but lacks a little sophistication, it's all about the spirit and lacks the moderating effects of the cask.
