My Handcrafted Opinions on Whiskies, Distilleries and Other Related Stuff

Tobermory 15 year old

The nose has lots of polished wood notes and a orange note, but citrus oil rather than juice.    The taste is very smooth with more oak wood and fruit jam notes and a little fragrent.  This is very rich, chewy and complex stuff.  The finish is dry, yet more oak, some toffee, pepper and tobacco as well.  Overall wood dominates, with some fruit and citrus undertones, a bit like a pot pouri.
