This expression has a light nose, similar to the 10 year old expression, which is malty and sweet. The taste is also very sweet at first, light in the mouth and then some floral and citric notes, to the point of almost being a little sour. There is a woody finish and some oak spice and pepper. I prefer the standard 10 year old expression... I guess this flavor profile has something to do with using organic "new" wood rather than a reused (non organic) cask.
