I like Glenmorangie (I really liked their madeira cask finished version but can't find that anywhere) and I am not alone as it is best selling single malt in Scotland. The La Santa is sherry cask finished expression and the nose has the sherry fruit notes, some malt and and some alcohol (this is bottled at 46% ABV). The taste is smooth and well balanced, mouth coating and honey sweet, vanilla, milk chocolate with a very long, dry, oaky finish with tannins evident (black tea?).
