The nose has lots of dried fruits and Christmas spices. The taste is rich, spicy and mouth filling. Malt and toffee deliver sweetness balanced with dark chocolate and herbal tea notes. The finish gets a little oaky and bitter but sustains. These notes based on a small sample and I need to go back and try it again, but I think I had hoped for a little more.
