A rather discrete distillery, despite being located in one premium tourist spots, Fort William at the foot of Britain's tallest mountain Ben Nevis. This standard offering may explain why they are discrete. The nose is malty, yeasty and has a hint of wood. The taste is sweet with caramel, lemon drops, cocoa and a waxy, oily note. Finish has pepper, oak and the wax turns into furniture polish. With water gets a little sweeter with some more oak in finish.
