If I am being honest, I am not completely sure what a puncheon is. I should probably look it up or something and write about it but I will instead leave that to you. The nose has a sugary cake sweetness, chocolate even, and is very fresh baked and delicious. The taste is silky smooth, more sweetness and baked goods, vanilla and citrus fruits. Some spice as well that hangs around into the finish along with pepper and even pine.
