I have mentioned before this distillery is growing on me. Everytime I try something I like it a little bit more. The nose is malty at first, then something creamy, like chocolate and some fruit comes through as well. The taste is very smooth and quite delicious. I found toffee, burnt caramel, toasted oak, coffee and vanilla in the taste into the finish as well before some pepper comes through. Solid whisky, complex but not fussy, interesting but not one dimensional.
