This no age statement single malt expression is the “official” single malt of the Robert Burns Society and I believe there is also an official blended scotch version as well. The nose is sweet and grainy, some lemon peel and furniture polish. Not the most sophisticated. The taste is quite sweet and light with lemon marmalade and a hint of smokiness. The finish is clean, lemon and sweet. Very consistent in profile but overall this is a little on sweet side for me.
