Apparently this age statement blend has been recently replaced by Bell's Original with no age statement. The nose is subtle, but somewhere in there I could detect some caramel, wood and grains. The taste is quite rich, unexpectedly so for a blend. Lots of classic malty notes, creamy with caramel, banana and spice. With water it gets even spicier... cloves perhaps. The finish has pepper, green wood and even a hint of peat and some sherry dryness. Feels like it has a high malt content. Good stuff.
