Here is a rarity. Hgh West make their white whiskey (again targetting the bar and cocktail scene) from oats. So this is actually an oat whiskey and probably the only oat whiskey I have ever tasted. The nose has bubble gum, lemon and a oily note. The taste is basically the bite of alcohol you would expect in white whiskey but also a little candy note (similar to the bubblegum in the nose). The finish is quite clean and even a little herbal. As white whiskey goes it is not the worst I have ever tried.
