The nose is full of fruit, pear drops even and overall very vibrant and even tangy. There s a hint of tar and salt in the background, like being near, but not at, the beach. The taste has more fruit (pears again) and citrus notes, almost sharp, and is smooth and sweet. Fresh green wood and a spicy, drying finish, this is very good whisky. If I gave ½ stars then this would be a definite 3 ½ stars whisky, but I don't... so it isn't.
